The connections, conversations, and interactions within Village are peer-to-peer social interactions. They are not clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic in nature.

Not therapy

Village does not provide, and should not be used as a substitute for, professional mental health treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, or psychiatric care. If you are struggling with mental health challenges, please consult a licensed mental health professional.

Village may complement professional treatment by providing social connection between sessions, but it does not replace the care of a trained clinician.

Not crisis intervention

Village is not equipped to handle mental health crises, medical emergencies, or situations involving imminent danger. Village staff and community members are not trained crisis counselors.

Nothing in the Village app or on our website constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content shared by members — including recipes, wellness discussions, and personal experiences — reflects individual opinions and should not be interpreted as professional medical guidance.

We are building a platform to make social connection easier, but the quality of your experience depends on your participation and the participation of other members in your area.
